This design and build collaboration between EMC and TCG Construction focuses on the renovation at the LRC on Old Peak Road in Hong Kong. Inspired by the timeless beauty of tennis courts, this project transforms the private members’ club into a captivating visual and tactile experience. The scope encompasses the sports reception and retail space, waiting area, male changing room, and wellness facilities, including state-of-the-art steam rooms, saunas, and an ice plunge. These wellness areas are designed as sculptural retreats, inviting members to unwind in an environment where every detail celebrates balance, movement, and enduring elegance.

Inspired by terracotta hues, earthy greens, and crisp whites, the design creates a serene yet vibrant palette. Clean lines and structured patterns evoke the rhythm and energy of the game, while geometric forms, realised through custom tiling, lighting, and material interplay, blend heritage with modern elegance.
